Hello all ...

Here is the "turn around-over-upon-behind" for a "small" problem.

We encountered several times a trouble consisting of "unable to save,
error in the track field for rule ...". The concerned rule was a Client
Auth.

Today, I decided to backup the "sick" conf (conf database and state). I
asked our exploitation to restore ELSEWHERE the full backup made before
the trouble appeared.

I copied $FWDIR/conf/rulebase_5_0.fws (let's call it the sick one) to a
safe place, and just replace it with the "restored" (healthy) one, those
operations done with CP stopped.

I started back CP, launch the GUI, and managed to save the rules. So,
either rulebase_5_0.C or a "derivated file" is the cause. Let's
investigate further.

A cpstop later, I replaced the current rulebase_5_0.C by the "sick one"! A
cpstart further, I was able to save again, with all modifications back
!!!!!

So, which files are (re)created when a rulebase is saved ? I guess one of
them is the cause of the trouble, but .... I can't find which one.

Let's praise the holy "diff" command! :-)
