I have had problems with:

1. The length of time for the 837001 update on win2k server. I attributed this to windows update site being slow from the downloads.

2. MS04-011 (835732) has not installed properly on some pcs using remote logon or MBSAFU 1.1. No errors are listed in the event log, it just doesnt like it. Autoupdates seems to get around this as does patching during a local logon, so Im not hugely worried.

However, given that the updates are critical, the fact there are 'glitches' makes me nervous about MS's ability yet again.

I ran Windows Update on one of our W2K servers on Wednesday night which
download the latest batch of patches from Microsoft. All the patches were
downloaded and seem to be installed OK, but when the it got up to the
patch KB837001 (MS04-014), the progress bar reaches 100% and there it
stayed. In the end, I had to kill the WU process.

I then tried to run Windows Update on my PC, and again the same thing
happened. Has anyone else experience this so far?
