TITLE:
iG Shop PHP "eval()" Injection and SQL Injection Vulnerabilities

SECUNIA ADVISORY ID:
SA23604

VERIFY ADVISORY:
http://secunia.com/advisories/23604/

CRITICAL:
Highly critical

IMPACT:
Manipulation of data, System access

WHERE:
>From remote

SOFTWARE:
iG Shop 1.x
http://secunia.com/product/4703/

DESCRIPTION:
Michael Brooks has discovered some vulnerabilities in iG Shop, which
can be exploited by malicious people to compromise vulnerable systems
and to conduct SQL injection attacks.

1) Input passed to the "action" parameter in cart.php and page.php is
not properly sanitised before being used in "eval()" calls. This can
be exploited to inject and execute arbitrary PHP code via a specially
crafted parameter value.

2) Input passed to the "id" parameter in compare_product.php is not
properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be
exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.4. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.

Use another product.
