Ibuprofen seems to work for some people. But not at all for some others.
However it's also toxic to some extent. Any chemical which has any effect at
all on the body will kill if consumed in excessive amounts - yeah, even water.
BTW there are other ways of committing suicide, or making a plea-for-help
scene if that's what you really want to do. Suggestions:
(1) standing on a bridge parapet will probably attract help, if that's what
you think you need. Although base jumping without a parachute, or bungee
jumping without a cord, is not reccomended if you don't actually want to kill
yourself.
(2) to actually commit suicide, try carrying a chair leg in the vicinity of
armed police officers.
