Usually people remember or have with them (just beside their trailing outflung
hand even) the recent medicine and events, and if there is doubt and hurry
then the phone works well.
Who are you phoning? The GP who will consult his records? I spent a
happy (sic) hour in an NHS walk-in centre in the summer, waiting to be
seen because they were completely failing to assist an elderly couple
whose wife had left her essential daily medicines at home before going
away on holiday. She couldn't say what the medicines were (other than
"white pills"), and they couldn't contact anyone who could help. But it
wasn't my intention to argue by counter-example, sorry.
